We can't let box fans be the leader, now can we?

I have lots more ...

Only 100,000 to go.

You're hatin' on box fans now?
Show your cards, Tom.
Forget Shorpy. Let's see some of your 1985 Wal-Mart specials.

Hatin'?  If you look at the thread, you will see I posted my box fans.  Not your typical box fans, but "in a box" nonetheless.

As Colbert would say, "The public has spoken"

18 pages and >110K hits and still progressing will not be beaten any time soon.

Now ya'll come back often, we need to get those numbers up ...

So sad ... too bad ...
The typewriter thread over in the other collectibles sections has more views.Even the Fanfair 2012 thread reigns over this one.
But keep countin'!

I think that picture was taken in Vietnam.
Type fan canvas is pulled by hand (do not use electricity), very popular in Vietnam in the early 19th century.

Tom, is there a specific date to that last photo you posted?  They sport 6 wing brass blades painted black.

There may have been.  I thought I had everything backed up but on the last HD crash (and there always will be at some point), those word files where I had notes weren't on the external drive.

I went through so many photo archives, but I might be able to find that one again, as I think it is a local group based on the file name.

Fitzgerald's Seafoods, West End Park, Lake Pontchartrain, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Badly damaged by Hurricane Georges in 1998 and not rebuilt.

GE and Century CFs and a circulator that is probably Emerson.
