 I joined the group because I love antique fans, desire to learn how to properly restore them and respect the work you all have done.
That being said, I'm quite disappointed that neither of my questions have been answered despite being viewed many times.  

Is this a group for those who are new to the restoration of fans or for those who are already professionals?

 Hi Julie,
Sometimes it takes a bit before you get responses.   Most folks browse the forum in their spare time or at night after work.   A lot do not do it everyday.   Also,  This is the old forum that is going away in a month or so and a lot of people have moved over the the new website.   I myself do not have a wiring diagram.
