My general impression is this fan is original & correct, but I've never had one -any input will be appreciated. Certainly has some original looking patina -1911-12?

Fidelity dumped the ribbed base and went to smooth castings in 12.  The fan dates 12+. They were manufacturing those heavy cast iron fans well into the teens, if not into the 20s.
