Susan brought this home on return from one of her trips.  I restored it for her, and now a few years down the road she asked me to sell it for her.  The brass was not laquered and has gained some tarnish since my restoration.  The fan was found with old rotton wiring hooked to a step up transformer.  I am not aware of any other surviving 60 cycle 190-220 VAC American made G.E. pancakes.  If there are, there can't be many of them out there.

The paint on the fan is original with the exception of the painted brass thumb screw I did.  The replacement parts on the fan are the rubber feet, oil return, terminal insulators, one brass acorn, and the ebony power cord entry grommet.  All of these parts were ordered through Darryl Hudson in past.  The rest of the fan is original as far as I know.

The blade was out of balance and I was struggling to balance it by hand and finger.  I sent it to Tom Newcity to strobe balance it as part of a trade.  Tom sent it back to me much improved.  One of the wing tips must of took a hit in past(please refer to the photos).  If purchased, there are members in the AFCA that could roll the wing tip wrinkle out if you want it perfect. I am unaware of any other significant defects with her.  She runs nice on all 5 speeds.

The cords are slightly faded vintage replacement to help fit the age of the old girl.  The transformer that came with it, the porcelain hardware and the plaque along with the brass cap Hubbell separable attachment plug all come with it as a package.  If purchased, I will carefully box it with cage and blade removed all secure in a tight package. The price is $1000.00 + Actual shipping charges and insurance.  Thank you!

Yes, the fan is still available. I will also add since my first post I sent the blade to Dave Dalsin to remove and roll out two of the damaged wings. This has improved the blades appearance. After getting the blade back I wheeled it on a buffer nice'n shiney. :D Sorry for my belated response Devlin. I sent you a PM Devlin, and am waiting a response. If someone decides to take her, I'll shine your brass up slick before shipment.

Terry, the tranformer was with the fan. There is nothing on it to ID it. It is vintage for sure.... if not antique? It is known as a STEP-UP transformer. You can get them on the web or maybe Radio Shack. This step-up transformer simply boosts the common household juice from 120 VAC to 220 VAC.

If you like our fan, please go up to my avatar and select either Email or a PM and send me a message. THE FAN IS STILL FOR SALE. It has most of its original paint, the blade has had improvements done on it, the fan runs GREAT on all five speeds, it has been completely gone through, the brass cap hubbell, transformer, the plaque and everything on it comes with. Your call! Thanks!
