Hi everyone,
I was a guest on this wonderful site about a month ago. I was asking about the age of my fan. I intended on cleaning it up and keeping it, but we are downsizing and there's no place to put this beauty. It's already been stored away for 5 years and I feel like it needs a good home.:violin: I wanted to list it on your site to see if anyone was interested before I list it on E-bay. If anyone is interested, please e-mail me at RobinLeist@aol.com

I guess I'd better come up with a price first. :hammer: However, I will answer any questions you have about it and also all the specs and I can send photos. The biggest expense is the shipping. I live in Sarasota, Florida, so the closer you are, the better.

Thank you all...again,
Robin

Hi all...I've attached photos of my GE Fan, Form AF-1, Type AUU, Catagory 34017, Spec 272154, circa 1928-1929. This fan is in Excellent shape. The green felt pad on the bottom looks almost new. You can see from the photos that I started cleaning up the Brass...so two of the blades are shining more than the other two. The cage measures 13", so I'll assume the fan is a 12". There are screws so you can adjust the fan back or forward, side to side. It has 3 speeds and they all work. However, when I first plug it in the blades try to move. I shut it off and spin the blades with my hand and then start it and they go perfectly on all speeds. So I'll assume this means it needs to have the the ball bearings cleaned or something oiled.

I am going to ask $125 and of course who ever buys it will pay for the shipping and tell me however you want me to ship it. If no one on this site is interested I will list it on e-bay and start the bidding at $99.99.

Please let me know any other information or photos I can give you.
Thanks....Robin
