Hello everybody, I'm hoping you might check your parts fans. I'm looking for a good stator and matching rotor for a Hunter 12" Desk fan. I might consider a complete parts fan. I don't care about condition of the wiring but the motor must run properly.

The fan is currently disassembled so it's hard to get pics of it. This is an all cast iron fan with no pot metal, it has brass blades and steel cage . It has a brass oscillator wheel. And knob on top.

This is a 3 speed oscillator model. Here's a few pics for identification purposes.

Thanks!!!

Lane

I have no idea if this is correct but I would expect that a GE Form W, AB, AC, or AD brass bell oscillator model from 1920-1924 would be the same parts.  But maybe not?

I'm not sure if they'd work either. That certainly would open up the possibilities. Does anyone know for sure if the options Steve said would fit ?
I'm fixing this for a fellow member so I wouldn't want to buy parts that don't fit.

Thanks,

Lane

The few early Hunters I have had that resemble a GE model sure looked like they were all GE and just the same but that's only for looks.

Yeah, but the pot metal one that I thought would work out is just slightly different dimensionally and I can't use those parts. It looks exactly like a GE also in form , but is slightly different.
Can anyone else confirm that the all cast ones were indeed made by GE and the parts are interchangeable?

Thanks,

Lane

Exactly, the pot metal GE looking loop handle 12" Hunter I don't think was made by GE and, though they do look the same from a distance, there are things that make them look just enough different to not have come from GE.

Stator found! Thanks to all that replied!! Thanks to Charlie who had an exact Hunter stator. An exact stator, so no guessing needed.
Cheers,

Lane
