|Although my 16" Vader has been running quite nicely, recently it has started to make some weird tapping and clicking noises. I've tried playing around with the rotor shims and the noise always returns, there's also a slight clunking noise at times when the fan is shut off and comes to a stop. I'm guessing the front bearing or rotor shaft might be slightly worn. It is oiled quite well, but the noise seems to present itself after a few hours of running. The front rotor shaft also seems to be ever so slightly bent, but everything does turn freely.
I'm looking to either buy or trade for a replacement rotor and front end bearing if someone has a parts 16-Q-3. Or I'd be willing to send the parts over if someone could do a little work on them for me, as I lack the tools to properly fix those parts. I'd really like to get this fan running 100%, as my other Vaders all run without making any funny noises. So any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also - I meant for the title to read "front bearing and rotor"
