Hi, all.  I am looking for a good stator for a Westinghouse "Vader" 10 inch, model 10-SQ3.  Mine is in bad shape with no insulation left on the head wires, broken windings, etc.  Let me knowi f you have one, and thanks!

Craig - if a 10 inch parts fan comes along, I'd be willing to go splitsies on it. I need a rotor/shaft and the front bearing housing. I also need an SQ-3 choke/speed coil.

Sounds good--let me know if you see one, and I'll do the same.  I decided to let someone rewind the motor for me, but I still have a prop with a large chip that may or may not balance well after repair.CG

Not exactly, though the motor could be the same inside the housing. Mine does not have the pronounced front bearing like this one. I wonder, though, if this is what NM is looking for?

I left it at a rewind shop here in New Orleans, so we will see how it turns out.  The owner said he enjoys working on these between the massive motors they usually do, and he had a couple of old fans around the office.  A good sign, I hope!  Here are a couple of pics, though.
