Refurb project just fell in my lap for a friends family owned Westy 12-FL-3.  He took a punch to the stator to remove from stamped steel housing (He blamed Youtube.)  Needless to say the windings took  a hit and it smoked after his headwire repair.

Looking to purchase a replacement stator (or fan for parts with known good stator.)

I don't want to go down the rewind road (yet.)

Thanks in advance!

I agree with Dan. This place is awesome! It is great how with the help of other members here you can find a part for something over 100 years old!

4th picture down, I think your connection here should go over two places to the High side on the switch, These fans start on high so the Start windings connect to the first tap to the right of OFF. Should still start up that way , but will start faster if connected over there.
