|PLEASE NOTE: LOWERED TO $4k FIRM. Also note, I have it on eBay but failed to put a cap on the price or Best Offer - messed up so may end the auction and redue it. I flat messed up and cant take a chance ont his fan, price is, I believe, more than fair already, my bad and if you have bid on it, I am sorry for my mess-up -. mistake- Westinghouse Gyro Ceiling Fan (circa 1917-20): Runs perfect, has about 90% original paint and a few spots touched up by previous owner. I replaced the oil cups with brass ones, but original ones go with the fan. I have 1-2 new sets of bearings for the fan that go with it but doubt you will ever need them. I bought this fan from C. Ward but due to a move, am having to sell my ceiling fans. This truly is a fantastic gyro. Probably could use a dusting but don’t get much better than this, at least one with most of its original paint. Price is firm and less than I paid for it – why I never went into business for myself! Price is $4.5K PM, email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 478 387-5704 if interested. Payment plan (lay-a-way) ok for AFCA member, no problem on this end.
PLEASE READ: I DO NOT want to ship this fan but will if have to (US sale only) but consider this. I will drive 4 hours from Macon GA to meet buyer or for AFCA members I will deliver to SC Meet in Aiken, SC in April, or it may be picked up on site. Also, check or PayPal s fine but check needs to clear before fan goes. Lastly, I have NO IDEA on shipping is why I am suggesting $200 as the cost. I over-pack and will have to ship in two boxes, so am guessing shipping will be $100-150, but this is only a guess. I will use FedEx Ground unless you do not want me to. Point is, will be a bit expensive to sip, but this is a rare fan that I want to get to you undamaged. DO NOT PAY UNTIL I CAN GET YOU AN ACTUAL SHIPPING COST – you pay for shipping only, not box fees, etc.
Ask any questions and I am a lousy photography so ask if you want any more photos and I will do my best. Thanks for looking. If no interest, I will put on eBay in near future.
PS. If you have never seen one of these running, just google Westinghouse Gyro Ceiling Fan and watch one of several videos on the internet. They are really cool.
