I've got a thought. Put the rear cover from a BMY on the back and make a hot rod / rat rod fan out of it.

BYM BACK?   WHY TO DO AWAY WITH THE ROUND PEICE OVER THE SHAFT?   I know oscillator should go on that but guessing it's not original?

The motor shaft at the rear has already been cut off short so no more loss in "converting" the motor to a BMY style with a rear cover from a BMY.  That will make the fan LOOK complete, even though it isn't.

Right and you would have to get another armature to make it original for a kidney box. Only thing is it would be cost prohibited to even try to put it back original as the kidney box by itself is worth more than the whole fan if you could even find a complete one.
