|I have an 8” awesome Coleman Deflector from Bill Dunlap but none of my fans are suitable. I wanted to put it on a Menominee but the configuration with cast struts would require different struts than Bill had designed. The deflector is the same diameter as a cage Nick Loos built for a Diehl Pullman fan when he restored it for me but the geometry for the pulley & drive belt would require about 1/2-3/4” spacers between the front motor cover and the deflector struts.
So after the rambling introduction above I will be looking for an Emerson 1500 or 11644 at FF which is what Bill designed the struts for. Other 8” fans with 4 substantial struts might work but the struts cannot include the 12:00 position.
I will have the deflector at FF but would like to know before FF if anyone has a 1500 or 11644 for sale. I’m not knowledgeable about these 2 models but based upon what a few people have told me I THINK I will prefer the 11644. Both restored, good original, & complete but needing restoration will be considered.
