Ebay listing for the fan.

Bought this sad-case on eBay in a late-night sleep-aid funk, and it came in today. Spent half an hour adjusting the motor case so the bearings weren't binding and got it running O.K. Has some field coil buzz(not terrible though) that will need to be addressed during restoration.

I should note I did recognize it was not a common Westy oscillator being a miniature version of the 12"/16" ones we see often. Not much info out there on them it seems.

The main part I need is the correct blade. I am guessing it takes a 4-wing 8" micarta blade or something. Brass would be amazing(the oscillator cap/knob, worm cap, and eight motor nuts are brass), but I am not wanting to dump a ton of money in this one if I can avoid it. I already dumped $72 in it. :hammer:

The front bearing carrier will need to be built up with JB weld and sanded to shape. And I'll have to make a new S-wire for the cage and solder it on.

If anyone also has these parts and want to part with them cheaply, I may be interested:

1. Front bearing carrier/oiler setup(my ball oiler cap it missing).
2. Complete cage.

Thank you again, Patrick!

Thread can be considered closed.
He had a spare 8" steel blade for the Westy, and also has the front motor cover with bearing carrier. That should be everything to get this one started.

I appreciate everyone who looked!
