Steven, I think that my switch looks a little different.  Here's a photo of it.  The bakelite knob is actually broken - it had been glued to look as though it was whole, but broke apart when turned:




And here it what the switch looks like from underneath:




Steven, I'm interested in your switch - if you think that it will work.  For the details - price, etc., please feel free to DM.  I'd also be interested  in your Emerson 29646 that was posted in another thread - that looks like a wonderful fan!  Thanks again!

I'll send you a switch for free + shipping - the exploded one is from an R&M, But I have a bunch of Arctic-Aire (FASCO) switches, all 3 speeds
