I’m sure someone would let you use a steel strut as a pattern to have brass ones made.  Nick Loos made a set for my ball motor.  Bill Dunlap made a set for my 1520.  Quite a number of craftsman on here capable of doing it.  Just depends how booked up they are.

Yep I was thinking that they had steel struts. My R4 is steel also.
