Thank you for the kind words. I'm not selfless. I receive the intrinsic reward of helping others. It feels... really good. Far beyond the couple-a bucks for the cost of shipping.
When asked about insurance during the shipping of the blade assembly, I countered, "What's a one-of-a-kind piece worth?" The kid behind the counter simply said, "That'll be $xx.oo" I'm all about the preservation of unique, rare, functional and innovative pieces when Made in the USA carried weight. Harley-Davidsons, a '56 Chevy, Zenith radios,  Army foot-lockers made of wood in the 40's, steel kitchen cabinets, green-colored DeWalt tools, Stanley miter boxes with a back-saw, or fans. It's all good.
If any of these components contribute to a completed project, it'll be worth my time and effort, because, ultimately, I have been rewarded.
