Found this fan in an antique store. It's a single speed oscillator. SB/SC. I'm guessing that it was made in the mid 30's. Does anyone have more info on this one? I have more questions and comments as I show the pictures.![]() ![]() ![]() It has a push button switch, Is that original or was there some other type of switch? ![]() ![]() ![]() The bottom plate has no rubber feet or felt. Was there anything used to protect the furniture? ![]() There are studs on the cover plate as if it were used to mount a switch assembly but there are no slots on the base for a switch lever ![]() ![]() The oscillator is very different from other fans I've worked on. ![]() ![]() Stator was very easy to remove. One drop over a vise and came right out! ![]() Oscillator came totally a part very easily but with many little parts. The oscillator housing is made out of pot metal. ![]() I'll update progress as it comes along.
