It is 110V DC. You will need to place a bridge rectifier in line to run it.Not to spark a debate but, since electrical engineering is not necessarily my area of expertise, would using some sort of corded transformer be safe? Could such a thing even be had? I have only dabbled in cosmetically salvaging a few AC motored, older shop tools. Walker Turner, Boice Crane, etc.
