Could someone give me a ball park value of a R-52 Hunter fan?  The one I have came out of the house my parents bought in 1956. The house was built in 1945.  It worked good then and I currently have it working my house.  It is in excellent condition but it has old cloth-wrapped wiring that I know should be replaced. Any replies would be appreciated.

If you could post a few photos of it, it would help a lot. But I'm guessing it was manufacture after 1946 when their manufacturing moved to Memphis, Tenn. :idea

And as far as value, Well, that depends on a lot of things. Condition, rarity, who wants it, when manufactured and so on. We'll get a better idea with a few photos.

I have had several pass through my hands.  Completeness (canopy and hanger), condition, 3 or 1 speed. original switch, etc matters.  Top price for excellent complete working 3 speed would be 150-175.

The main problem for the general public is they are not reversible.

Alright Andrew ....

If it had an original light kit with Quezal glass shades ...

Then the shades would be worth way more than the fan ;^)
