Hello everyone, I am looking for a working stator or a rusty stump/fan with a working stator for one of these 10" Kwik Kool fans. I know it is a cheap fan, but this is the fan that started my love for the older metal fans exactly 6 years ago. I also bought it the same die my grandfather died, my grandfather told my father to get it for me the night before, so it is a very sentimental fan to me as well. If anyone has a stator or a parts fan with a working stator, I would really appreciate if you would be willing to sell it. Thanks! :D

Can you post a picture of the back or stator itself? I might have a complete fan.

I have a complete working fan as well...the fan itself is a bit rough but the motor is in good shape and runs strong. I'm looking to sell it as well...PM me if interested. I'll send you some pics

That's the one! Would you be willing to sell just the stator, or do you prefer to sell the whole fan?

Does the stator still have continuity on either poll?  Why do you think the stator is bad?

Larry, it no longer has continuity, one of the first times I disassembled it my dumb naive self, not having worked on an antique fan before, I accidentally hit the stator windings and messed them up pretty bad. Been sitting in a drawer for a good 5 years and it is about time I got it back together and working.

The good thing is that is a two pole stator.  I recommend you contact  Rick Huckabee, his email address is, rghuckabee@yahoo.com.  He does a great job.  I met him at the Lake Houston meet.  He is a great teacher and encouraged me to begin to do this.  I am still at the speed coil level and have yet to take on my first stator.  I will soon.
