I am looking for a set of 12" blades for a 1919 GE 75423 Form V2 AOU fan.  Looking for a nice set for a fan that will be refurbished.  Please let me know if you have some that will work on this fan.

Thanks,
~Bob~

If you run a 6 wing blade on your motor that was designed to run a 4 blade fan you risk motor damage.   A motor designed for the 6 wing blade runs at ⅔ the speed of the 4 wing blade model which is Cat. No. 75423.

Ok....I appreciate the information.  I always thought the pitch was slightly different to accommodate the motor.  Thanks Steve.....do you know the shaft size or hole size for this fan?

I think it's 5/16" hole for a 1919 Form V and I do have an excellent 6-wing steel blade for sale with pretty decent original gold paint finish.   But that blade will not be so good for your 4 pole motor.  Now R&M did put a shallow pitch 6 wing blade on their 4 pole motors so, with R&M, a 4 or 6 wing blade in the teens/twenties will both work fine.   See if someone else will confirm the 5/16" motor shaft for your fan.

Yes....you are right....I do watch the temp and amps after I finish one.  Big indicator that something isn't correct.  The best policy is to stay with the correct parts.

So.....anybody have a 12" brass 4 wing blade for a 75423 with 5/16" shaft size?
