GONE - THANKS : Hawthorn Vane
Hawthorn 12 Inch Vane for sale:  Here is my shot at a description: Cage, cage badge, and Vane original to fan – restored by Paul Graves and woks perfect, no, better than perfect. Tag original to fan – restored by Donald Coleman. Motor housing missing a little paint but nice, base needs a re-paint or if you are good at it, a touchup – tried to show this in one of the pics. This fan runs FANTASTIC. It is 50 cy, not 60 but I ran it on regular 60 cy current for an hour and it never got hot. Truly once the base is painted or touched up, will be one of those eye-stoppers. The cage and vane work Paul did is beyond words.  I included several pictures.

I have a few rather common c.f. parts I will try and list later to see if generate any interest.  Email ANY questions on the Hawthorn, truly is a fantastic runner. If don’t hear from me, no worries as I will not be home until late tonight.

Dennis, if you use the friends and family option with PayPal there are no fees. Also if you associate a bank account with your PayPal account you can transfer money back and forth , thus turning the PayPal virtual money into real cash. Just FYI.

Just FYI. There is no buyer protection or refunds when using friends and family option. It can save a few $$ but if something goes wrong, you are screwed....That's why I do not use it for products I buy. It might be ok if you know the seller, but if someone on e bay wanted me to use that form of payment. I would not. FYI.

A good fan for a correct price.  Sorry Dennis.  At least you are at the top.

With regards to PayPal F&F. If it's a member/member transaction I feel that there is a certain level of trust that can be assumed until proven otherwise with a member. We also have an ethics committee if something goes wrong and can't be resolved between the members. I'm not as likely to use F&F when buying from a guest unless I have a good history with them.
Yet another reason to become a dues paying member.

Hi Lane, Did you get the pictures I tried to send last night. Check, you may have gotten them 5 times with my computer skills. Hope all is well in Germany. We try to go twice a year to see our Son. Be safe, Dennis
