Bought a funeral fan yesterday and didn't notice the front bearing housing was busted. I know it's a long shot but would love to buy a motor for the fan. Thanks---James

I saw those. But untested seems like too much of a risk for 280$

Hey James. Just buy a complete Victor fan for not too much money and rob the motor from it. I'm about 80% sure they're all the same. I have a Luminaire and two other Victors with the breeze spreaders on them and they alll look identical. All three are six wing. Steve

Check out Russ's postings on the different
bearings that Victor used on their fan motors.

Apparently James, your fan has a different style motor than mine does. To find that same one is probably going to be a lot harder. I'm still pretty sure they all mount the same way. If you are more concerned with making it run than having the original motor, the different style should be ok. If I remember correctly I've seen others mention doing the same thing.  Steve

The fan actually runs pretty quiet. I guess it's more of a peace of mind thing. I'll look around at some Victor's though.

Yours is a link to motor mounts.  Above is the motor and blade.  Seems a bit high.
