I will be at Fan Fair tomorrow and would like to:1.   Make contact with anyone at the Fan Fair who has a brass blade and/or cage for an Emerson 24645.2.  To know if there is anyone in the AFCA who manufactures the gears for a GE Collar Oscillator.  I recall, some years ago, that there was someone in Louisiana who did that, but don't recall who it was or know if they still do that.
3.  To re-up my membership, if can be done @ Fan Fair.

Just spoke with Marce Clark from the San Antonio, TX area & he said I might check with Chad Baker on my blade and cage need.  Sorry about the previous misspelliing of your last name Chad.

Hope you find someone that makes or has gears for Collar Oscillator. I need this gear myself. Picture is from David's post on restoring Collar Oscillator.

I think that there will be several others interested in that, and perhaps other, collar parts. I was in the process of organizing such an effort when I posted that pic, and got ahead of myself... I was helping someone deal with his own collar problem, and figured that if I shared the image with him, everyone else should see it. I know I will be needing some parts as will this other individual, and suggest that a group approach would reduce costs...

Marce;  have you inventoried the innards on that "Collar" to see what is missing.  It would take someone with exceedingly talented skills at a lathe to make the gears for that or those parts.  If there is no one in AFCA with those skills, I can give you the name of the lathe operator in San Antonio who can probably make anything we can present him an original of.  IMHO.
