Don't worry so much about buying a switch with a bad donut resistor. You can replace the donut with a capacitor. 

And are you certain that it was the type that had a halo coil? Some had resistance built into the stator.  Measure the resistance between all 3 headwires to verify. .

I did take readings on all wires and they were all the same (42.2 42.4 42.3) . You are right I may have to go with a standard switch and add a cap.

I'm not sure that the choke coil is the same on both types. Maybe Rick Huckabee can assist with that question. I seem to recall the coil being physically larger on the ones without the halo coil.

Hi Lane, Do you have any more of seed control decals for BMY I just acquired aother one this one is complete 1911.  If you do I need two sets, I also have an old Deihl that needs some.  Thanks

Lane, I just sent you 21.00 I just need Two sets. Also the BMY I just acquired doesn't have a bottom cover over the switch. From what I have seen they look like cardboard and how does it attach.
