 This is a photo of proposed fans for G.E.'s 1934 line. To the left are two 8.5-inch blade fans, making them the nice 55x165, in black and cream. The units to the right are labeled 6.5-inch. All of these ones shown available in oscillating and non-oscillating versions, same with proposed 10-inch, but 12-inch oscillating only. Has anyone seen one (6.5") catalogued, or in actuality?

I haven't seen them Steve and this is the first I have seen that they might have been made or made in prototype form.

 I want to give this a single bump, last call, before assuming that the 6.5-inch never saw production/distribution.

 GE was heavy advertising on "2" aspects of the new 34 QUIET FAN:


#1. The new SMALLER quiet blade designed, assigned, and patented by Walter Upson, was CLAIMED to produce as much cooling breeze as any other 12" LARGER diameter blade.

#2. It could produce this increased air volume from a smaller diameter blade ...............QUIETLY.


WHY would GE need to produce two models at 8"and 6" blade diameter when the 8" could do the jobto support the GE boasts?
