This is not a joke in any way shape or form. I'm being very serious and decided to have fun with the whole thing at the same time. $500 to the first person who can find a 20" Chelsea made window fan with the push button and thermostat combination. Working or not working, rust or no rust. As long as it is complete or at least have most of it's important bits, including the speed control and the aluminum decorative plate that should be on this fan.

Air Kings do not count as they are not the same fan. Chelsea had the thermostat and speed control all on one side, bottom right hand corner.

Note: The fan used in the picture is not original. I used parts from various different fans for this photograph. (Still Chelsea made), but gives a general idea of what it should look like.

There is a Chelsea window fan in a local antique mall but I don't remember if it's this one or not w/ the push buttons and thermostat. I don't think it was b/c I think the switch was on up by the motor. Plus it was a teal/blue color not white.

They did come with toggle switches on the side of the motor, I have one myself.

The model I'm looking for was made some time after 1957 and it seems to be impossible to find.

I thought I saw one on the Facebook fan groups, but not sure which one. Might be worth a look there.

Rob,

Friend of mine has this one he rescued from scrap yard.  It doesn't quite fit the bill, but I had to check it out after reading your "Wanted Poster".  We plugged it in and it ran great, but needed a little loving oil.

Rob your ad looks similar to one I have seen for a couple years on craigslist in the NH, ME, MA areas. Great minds think alike

Rob, is this the one you’re looking for?  The switch doesn’t look like the one you’re looking for.

Negative sir, but I did attempt to acquire that one and got no response. That's a little 16", earlier model.

The two my family had back in the early 90's were both 20" blades and judging by my research, I would reckon that the model number may be 57W2, or similar. Attached is a picture of what the switch would look like in the lower right-hand corner, minus the thermostat which is not present on this model.

Ok, saw that one on CL and thought I’d let you know. See you at Toms!

This looks like a Chelsea with push buttons.  Rebranded as a Monkey Wards though....

Close but no cigar. This is actually an Air King. While looking the same, it's a completely different fan with very different features, mainly the grille and the thermostat being on the opposite side of the fan.

My current offer from now until next year this day, May 13th 2020: $750 to the first person to find one of these elusive Chelsea made fans, five push buttons and thermostat in the lower right hand corner.
