Nathan-- with all respect, this buy/sell forum does not allow for bidding-- it is not ebay.  you must put a clear and firm price on any fan you hope to sell on this forum.  those are the rules.

The fan is not for sale on this site. My post states that it is for sale on ebay and the link takes you to the ebay listing. From my understanding the rules allow for members to promote their ebay listings. The moderators are welcome to remove the post if linking to an ebay listing is against the rules.

Nice looking fan. If I didn't have to pay $43+ to ship it half way across the country, I might be interested. :)

What cord did you use? I like the single cord look versus twisted. Where to get?

Jeff: That single cord can be had from a supplier in Massachusetts called Sundial:

http://www.sundialwire.com/

These folks are nice to deal with and the prices are reasonable. They ship immediately. They also have three wire cloth covered cord too which comes in handy.

I found the cord on amazon believe it or not. The seller was Industrial rewind, but I have never been able to find it again. It was very cheap compared to the Sundial wire, and surprisingly high quality. After I ran out, I found another similar wire, also on amazon. It was a little thinner, but It still works great. The only downside is that it is rayon not cotton. Licperron cloth covered wire
