I need to thin my collection of fans so I thought I would offer this Emerson 6250. Please see the pictures below and note the polished Aluminum Blade which I believe is somewhat rare.
  • Base and Motor Housing painted with black "Wrinkle Finish" paint
  • Blade Guard was painted with semi-gloss Black paint
  • Motor Badge was of the silver variety and was pretty much gone so I removed it and filled the holes
  • Cage Badge restored
  • New Head Wire, Grommets, Base Felt, and Power Cord
  • Single Speed, runs smooth and Oscillates
  • 10" Polished Aluminum Blade Blade has no nicks - Fan stands ~15" tall
[size=See it at Stan's Meet October 6, 2018]

Thanks for looking! If there are any questions, please PM me.

John

  Awesome interpretation of that fan's  design in restoration.  :up:  That model is always found looking trashy with the rose brass plating peeling  off the blades.  :?  Emerson should have done this  in the 1st place instead of faking out the rose brass with plating.  Great job John.  :clap:

I have one of these, actually it was my first antique desk fan, and researching it lead me to find this club. I was told mine has copper blades, not brass asI had thought. Are all of this model fan equipped with aluminum blades?

No - at least some of them, like the 6250-K model, can have bronze blades.  I have one.
