I have a good running GE that needs a new switch or the old switch needs repaired. It runs nicely and is an excellent fan to restore. It needs the head wire replacement and some paint and polishing. I put a modern cheapo switch in for the video but it does not fit and is not included. One other thing is I lost one of the small cage mount screws for the back so theres another ten cents worth of parts you will need.

The original switch did work when I bought it last week and is included.  You may be able to fix it but it looks like it would be tricky
