Some aptitude is required to set this up to run properly. It shouldn't be too difficult especially if it's mounted on fans as close as possible to my Trojan 5310 or my GE 1902 pancake. It works well on both of these.
I used this last night and it's getting a bit warm around here. It was a great experience keeping me cool without being "in my face" blowing. Really nice.
Extra belts will be supplied. I've done a lot of experimentation with a variety of belts and I'm down to using Viton 1/16" belts as they are durable unlike rubber, and will snap in the event the blade gets tangled up with belt, thus preventing damage. This can happen, so I'll supply three each of two different sizes.
I can also give some guidance as to how I have set these up to work.
The vanes are clear lacquered over an artificially aged background, and the rest is natural polished brass. I intended it to age naturally.
So far, none of the deflectors I've shipped have been damaged. I pack them in rigid foam with bubble pack surrounding the parts inside heavy duty cardboard boxes. Boxes are marked fragile.
I've given up on using ebay. I thought that this one might go higher, but fees are getting ridiculous and there are a lot problems even listing things lately.
