This fan was my great uncles- I’d like to find out how old it is. I am not capable of restoring it so would like to see it go to someone who will take good care of it. Thank you- Nancy

How about have someone restore(just get it running?) for you? Nice to have something to remember a family member.

Does it work? Not a very valuable model, money-wise. Probably less than $50.

These fans were made in the teens. By the thousands, it seems. I've had five of them over the last few years. Every one ran once wired up.
I don't think I paid more than 75$ for any of them. One came with a brass blade, but it's the only one I've ever seen.
There are distinct differences between the years, also. Some I suspect made during the war years had very little or no brass at all including the badge. There are at least two different badges and two different cages. None of them came with switches.
They are ultimately a very usable fan as they put out some air and are very quiet.
Cheers,
Bill

That's a very nice fan, Nancy.  Per forum rules, you must post a price if you wish to sell it on the forum.

I ran mine last night. It is loud but powerful. I have new felt feet on it and it was sliding around on the table. Probably a better garage fan than house fan with the noise.
