My husband and I purchased a 100 year old home in New Orleans, and found this (functioning) fan in our family room. It looked kind of special, so I found your association on the internet and reached out to Annie Hill, who kindly recommended I put it on the Forum to see if there is any interest.  It's very heavy! Hope to hear back from y'all soon.Nicole Scagnelli  (Sorry the pictures loaded sideways)

Please post a price for your fan Nicole.  It is a requirement in order to post here.  Thank you.

I'm thinking she's asking $500.

It is indeed. I lived on St. Charles right there until recently, and my friend lives in your block.

You won't find anything contemporary for 500.

Why would you want to sell it?

What you said. Plus . . . packing & shipping?? I just spent 2 days fabricating a custom crate for a heavy fan. Cost to ship (just the motor = 120) Over sized and heavy. Local pick up limits folks in an easy driving distance.

We purchased new fans to replace all the fans in our house, as many of them were rusty and not "keepers". We bought two for our family room, where this fan was located. When we were shopping at Dan's Fans, the store owner saw a photo of the old one and told us it was probably very old and someone would probably love to have it.

Shipping is an issue because of the weight. If you have any suggestions on how that can be accomplished, I'm all ears. I am not skilled in making boxes for shipping.Nicole

I will make an offer you.  I will have someone pick it up.  No shipping required.

Thank you, I accept. So glad I don't have to ship! I hope you enjoy it.
