I have made perfect oil wick to fit the GE whiz. I have to hand make it so each piece is about 2" in length. I guess that this is not a readily available thing to buy. I have already sent wicks to 2 different members here and they both say that they fit perfect. I have decided to sell them in 2 piece sets for $5.00 shipped. Later as I get more material I may sell them cheaper. If interested in oil wick that fits your Whiz just PM me. Thanks

I have only dark blue wicks right now. I have ordered more white felt but it will be a week or so. The blue is no different than the white, it is just a different color.

Well I got the new felt and it just does not work. I only have 3 more sets of these wicks (Blue of coarse) and then I don't really know if I will be able to make any more. I will keep searching for the correct material but for now it's a bust. I guess the old felt I bought at a yard sale is just better made than what you can buy today.

Don, if you haven't check with Southerland Felt.   I bought wick from them and some custom cut pads to sit under the fan.  They don't have wicks smaller than 1/8" however but they have lots of felt in many grades.Give them a call and maybe they have what will work for you,
