Steve, do you have a better photo, perhaps a close up of the slotted nut?

Any 1900 or later pancake or BMY motor acorn nut will suit your needs.

Steven, Looks like there is no shortage of originals out there. perhaps you can one from on of our members and be on your way. If it were really an oddball I was going to offer to reproduce some for you but looks like you have that covered for now! Love your early fan, someday hope to add one to my collection. terry

I've been told that "odd nut" is an 1899 un-slotted acorn nut. Sometimes added during repair, etc.
So I have the very beginning of an 1899 Cake!!

You should be able to make a straight trade, your 99 nut for a later nut.   There are plenty of nuts in the AFCA and I am one of them but no extra nuts here.

I have what you want. Tell me where to send it and it yours, gratis. It came off of my 1900 pancake.  I replaced the originals with nice new ones from Darryl Hudson. This one wasn't in too bad a shape. The others were pretty mangled. That pancake is now sitting in my youngest daughter's living room!
