I'm in need of 6 blades for an Emerson 35661 hotel fan I'm restoring.  A couple guys pointed me to John Andrews at Texas Ceiling Fans, but he's unable to help me.  Hoping someone can help me out with this!

That's something you're going to have to make. I doubt anyone has blades with no brackets for those.

I figured new blades are going to have to be made. Just curious if anyone on here has the tools and skill to do that. I have one original and warped blade that can be used as a template.

I think Jon Andrews in Austin has a guy who reproduced the blades. He’s very good.

I contacted John and he said he couldn't help me. He said to contact some woodworking shops and see if they can make them. I was hoping to find someone within our fan community to produce these.

Originals were made of Basswood, Gum, or Poplar.

David, you need those for a 35661 as well? I'm going to try and stop by a couple wood working shops and see if they can make them. I'll see about making batches.

I need some for a Dayton Midge, also.
I can make CAD files.

Many blades are tapered so the tips are thinner. This can be done by mounting them to a board that has a spacer strip under one end, then run through a planer.

I've got my only original 35661 blade at a local woodwork shop. They are going to tackle the project. We'll see what the end result is like. I told the owner that if they can do these at a fair price, I've got other guys looking for blades as well.
