Hello all,

This is the same Westy that I was having the stator issue with.  The stator is good but I can't get the old section of head wire out from between the winding and laminations to pass the new head wire back through, so if it was put together as it sits it would run backward.  The new owner would need to find a new stator or come up with a remedy for this one.

The fan is complete except for a missing screw or two from the base, the brass oscillator engagement knob, both of which are available online and the oiler, also available on antique fan parts webpage.

I hope someone can use this. With everything going on I would like to give it to one person so as to cut down on trips out right now.

Again, this is free for postage.  I would pack and ship, then send a photo of the receipt to the buyer who could then pay via Paypal or check.

Are you sure it's running backwards? Westinghouses run counter-clockwise, most other fans run clockwise.

I have not put it back together. But the stator will have to be installed backwards. From what I understand that will make it spin backwards.
