Also received busted, the front motor housing - - I have the part & will try to fix, but it is under pressure.Made by Diehl. JB Weld??

I didn't realize that the Commandair fans had Bakelite motor housings until I was working on one one day and when I saw a crack (somebody had over-tourqued the screw for the housing)..I thought, oh heck...danged pot metal!  So I used a hyperdermic syringe to needle some apoxy into the crack and gently  viced it over night.  Worked perfect.  My $.02

This is a stress point where the  motor housing is connected. Shame - such a nice running fan.
