Hello everyone, I have a 1918 16" Hunter 2-star fan that I'm currently working on restoring and I need a 4-Wire stator if anyone has one they would be willing to sell, because the one that came with my fan has a broken wire that broke off inside the windings, and I priced getting the original rewound and it was too expensive for me (Rick Huckabee wanted $250 plus shipping costs to repair my stator, which that's about how much one paycheck is for me, and so that's out of the question for me).
So if anyone here has a 4-wire stator for a 16" 2-Star Oscillator fan (GE one would work also since this is basically a GE 2-Star Oscillator that's been rebadged as a Hunter), that they could part with in their parts bin that is known to be good yet I would be willing to take it off your hands (I could pay you the shipping costs for it.)
Thanks for your help.

P. S. Please don't take this as me knocking Mr. Huckabee's Work, Because I have seen his work and I know its well worth what he's asking for it, I just can't afford to pay that much money to get this fan's original stator rewound because I don't make that much where I work, and I get disability checks each month, but my mom is in charge of that money and my mom would hit the ceiling if I would of tried to ask her for that much money to fix up a motor on an antique fan, because she has a hard enough time seeing my justification for restoring antique radios (which costs nowhere near that much to restore) let alone trying to restore an anitque fan that needs a motor rewind, and my disability checks go mainly towards rent, and groceries.
