Recently several AFCA members have asked me if I could reproduce washer and switch parts for the older Emerson fans that used centrifugal switches.  At some previous time, I was told that someone offered the fiber washer kits but they appear to be no longer available.  Anyway, Dan O'toole recently sent me the parts from an original Emerson fan that contained these parts and I took measurements to see what would be required.  Since the threaded brass screw posts often break upon removal, I thought a complete kit of parts often would be needed.   At this time I have now acquired the tooling that is needed to enable me to manually reproduce these parts.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks, Jerry Bravi

Just a thought... How about a deluxe set with springs included? I know those were trashed in the 1510 I restored. I'm sure there would be a desire for a full rebuild set.

I recently was able to locate and procur a small quantity of new springs very similar in shape and size as the original ones Emerson used on these early fans with mechanical centrifugal switch systems used during fan startup.  I actually tested them with good result and have a set of them in my recently restored 51646 Westy.  If anyone needs one of my new switch packages, I am able to add a set of springs as a deluxe package for an additional $10.00 until my supply runs out.  This makes a deluxe kit $75.00 plus $5.00 shipping.
Thanks, Jerry Bravi
