I’ve recently inherited these 3 fans. Not really sure what year any of them are but they are very interesting. Restored the R&M fan with new wire and a switch and paint, it came out pretty good. I’m just starting on the black GE. Any information would be greatly appreciated on any of the three fans. Trying now to figure out where the three stator wires connect to the base on the black one. Someone didn’t label them prior to taking it apart. Lol. Thanks in advance for any help! ![]() ![]() an ![]() ![]() ![]()

Regarding your circa 1915 GE, check all the component parts of the guard for magnetic attraction, since it should be brass... I'm not clearly seeing any screw for adjusting the swivel. Some units of the "R" era have the two "star" headed adjusters for the oscillating mechanism (that do show in your photos) and have a third lobed thumb screw for the swivel adjustment, and some have a standard flat-faced thumb screw for that third screw... it's a matter of little consequence.![]() Your fan is quite early into the Form "R" production, as evidenced by not only the motor serial number, but the fact that it displays a previous version of tag... note that the second one pictured carries a serial number less than 75 from yours. ![]() It might be of interest to know of what metal the disk was made... sometimes pot metal, sometimes iron is what I recollect... ![]() Blade and struts will polish up nicely, and you'll have a fan Good Enough for yet another generation.....

Thank you so much for the info. My apologies for the insufficient images. Yes sir, it does have 3 brass stars, everything was painted black when I got it. I’m not sure what metal ![]() the disk is… it’s not brass . I’ll post a photo. Great idea with the magnet. I’ll try that tomorrow on the remaining parts. Thank you for your help! ![]() ![]()
