This guy has this fan for sale for $289 I do not know alot about this fan but I think they are very expensive from the research I did. He claims it is all original Sorry but he posted only one photo which makes me suspicious Any thoughts Cam ![]()

I saw it on Craigslist a while ago, and I think they were asking $1400. They did have more than one picture of it, and it appeared to have been repainted. I'm guessing the low price is bait, and they would not actually let it go for that.

No problem. I'd definitely hesitate to buy it and get it shipped, but if you're in person you can only lose on the gas money and time. If you want the fan shipped, you could ask if you can come pick it up in person. If the seller says yes, that is an indicator that he is for real, and you can then change your mind and say you want it shipped. If he says he will only ship it, then he's probably a scammer.

The inquisitive nerdiness in me got me contemplating, "why the the double cups?" ![]() ![]() If just single cups, the water after it hits a cup, would project backwards and hit the back side of the next cup. Me thinks a bit counterproductive. ![]() Kind of a "two steps forward, one step backwards" type of thing. With double cups (that are less than hemispherical) and the water jet directed center where the cups touch, the water after it hitting a cups would project backwards but at a angle towards the motor casing's side walls, thus not hitting the backside of the next cup. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it! ![]()
