Just picked up this beauty this morning while on a road trip with my father. I was not expecting to find anything, and then I saw this peeking around the corner at an antique shop. Cast hub, brass blade and cage.

I love it when I find something with a property or resellers tag, shows a lot of history. Great find.

I found a 3 wing vorty late last year with two property tags from Allis Chalmers. The fan looks like it originated at the Wisconsin plant then traveled to the LaPorte plant at some point as I found it in town. It kept someone cool for a long time.

Very interesting! On the Emerson, I traced Childers Electric and found its original address in downtown Louisville, KY. The area is occupied by boutique restaurants nowadays...

Louis, can you please type out the name letter for letter on that electrical contractor decal at your convenience?  It's up to you. Enjoy your toy!

Electrical contractors were an excellent opportunity for fan motor manufacturers to sell fan motors in volume.

Very interesting finds! Judging by the letterhead, this fan may have been rented out. "Rents of electrical apparatuses our specialty."
