I started to reproduce not available and collectors/restorers sought after STAMPED 12" GE Pancake HUBS blades assembly (spider legs). I'm offering hub and matching formed blades assembled (riveted) and polished for $160 shipped. Hub only for $120 shipped. I would like to ask for your input, all welcome, even "Emerson" lovers...

Ted, remarkable! Putting an original next to the repro for comparison would be helpful I think. Factory could not have done it better.

These look absolutely amazing. Please don't take offense as I am still learning. The amount of "yellow" is much lighter on yours than on the original or is it because of the lighting?

Louis, old brass vs. brand new and than cleaned any way. Give it some time and deeper yellow will appear as oxidation process will start.

Ted, you're pulling my leg. You just cleaned up an old hub to make it look like you made it new. Nobody does that kind of perfect and original looking work.

Wow, the original and new together really shows how nicely you copied GE's work. Very nice. Too bad I have no need for the hub but I hope you will get some customers sooner or later.

Ted, Very nice job.
When will the 12" be available for purchase? Do you plan to make a run of say 100 of these every so often or is the plan to always have some in stock. I guess I am wondering, should I buy a couple now to save for a later need.

Stick with it Ted. That is impressive. My 05 beddy bye bedside G.E. cake could use a nice new set a shiney wings. Its full of dust bunnies and leaking oil like an old Harley. If I ever blow out the dust bunnies and get the oil leaks plugged and shine it back up I will have a talk with the old girl about a new blade. Keep up the good work.

Troy, thank you for good comment.

To your question, I'll make them per order and maybe couple ahead...not a lot and certainly not a hundred. It is such a tedious and time consuming work, it would consumed all my spare time up. Just to clarify, this is hand work and not automated production. So if you need it just email me and we will take it from there. Already in process of making 3 pieces for one collector's order.

Ted, amazing work!!. A 16" hub would be cool. Same basic set-up, just .375 I.D. and 3 rivets per.

Ted,
Those truly look great, I can't tell the difference between yours and the original, I wish I needed one.

How many collectors would need 16" hubs? if there would be at least six I'll start the project. $190 shipped.
