Is this what you are looking for? It is a cast metal canopy and the finish is kind of rough.

Dan,

I have this canopy which I think is a trimmed down Emerson.

You could braze an upper ring on it to get a good representation of an Emerson canopy.

This is exactly the half I'm looking for.
I will wait for a few days to see if anyone has a full one. If no one does, I'll buy yours.

Didn't someone buy several pallets of ceiling fans in Texas a couple months ago?  I think the pile included several dozen canopies.

Don, I've got the same cast iron canopy, in copper oxide. I was told it's a Hunter.

None of which were Emerson reproductions.

Yours is a Hunter.  I would be interested in trading for it.

Hunter used those, but I have had two Emersons with them as well. Since the small six winger was in a church its entire life, I tend to believe Emerson bought canopies from who ever Hunter did for a limited time.

I've seen the canopies like the white one on Hunter fans mostly.

Nope, Hunter.

You can do searches for period Hunter ads and see them.
