I'm going to sell this Menominee to raise cash for another project I have for the Spring. I have detailed high resolution pictures of the oscillating gears for any serious buyer that wishes to see them. The stator, rotor and switch have all been serviced by Neal Klann and all the cloth wiring was replaced by him as well. I cleaned most of the grunge off the paint but left the brass unpolished. The paint on the motor is still pretty nice but the base and the loop would look better with a fresh coat of paint.
It runs well and oscillates well on all 3 speeds.
The price is $1750. If it doesnt sell in a few days I will list it on ebay

He says its oscillating gears look "like new" and he's never seen a gearbox on one of these with so little wear. I dont have the photography skills to show just how good this fan really looks.

I wish I could afford one like this. I'm trying to work my way up to something similar.
It is beyond beautiful. A work of art and engineering for sure.

It is one of the best looking 8" fans ever made. I'm sure some would say its one of the best looking fans of any size. Dont feel too bad, most people cant afford to spend that much money on what is basically eye candy. Its eye candy you can make a breeze with, but still just eye candy. You could think of it as an investment if you really wanted to justify the purchase :D

Neal did a great job. That sure looks nicer than any of my Staghorns. That's a keeper! You sure you want to still sell it?  You'll never have a nicer runner than that one, I bet.

I need to sell it to finance some other projects I have going on right now. One of which is a black Mercedes S600 I would like to get going on.

Yes there are all sorts of fun things to play with in this world. I just cant afford to have both of them at the same time... at least not right now anyway. I'll probably sell the Mercedes and buy more fans after I satisfy my curiousity with driving it.

I can bring this fan to the meet in Aiken. If you have a fan made by Edgar T Ward or Gaylord/Russell I would be interested in a trade. I am not interested in trading it for anything else.
