I recently found a Westy 107988 tank up in Kansas.  I had no cage and the blade was all bent.  Fortunately I had the correct brass blade.  I am in need of the brass cage and struts.  Anyone got one they are willing to let go of?
Correction: Not a Westinghouse rather a Western Electric Victor.

Can you post more info Larry?  A photo of the fan or motor tag?  You don't say what size fan.

I think you need a Victor badged cage to be correct for your fan Larry.

Without trying to look up the number I don't know what fan Larry has.   Westinghouse, Victor, or GE?

I have a Westinghouse style 107988.  It is a BMY tank.

To be correct the cage will be like the Westinghouse tank cage but the badge will be the heavy, solid VICTOR cast one.   Finding a complete cage may be hard; maybe someone has a reproduciton or original badge you can install on a Westy tank cage.

That victor cage and badge will be a tough get and pricey as far as cages go...

An option, although cheating a bit, would be to turn the fan into a Westinghouse 60677 with an appropriate motor tag if the tag holes match up to the Westy badge.

Stator got a good cleaning and the centrifuge switch got a one too.  I have never see one of those start switches before.  Very interesting technical approach for the day.  Cleaned and a little lube and it works like new.  :wondering:

I have made no decision on the paint yet so I applied a little old fashioned elbow grease.
