OK, I'm going to say that it's time to drop this back and forth about membership for the sake of the club and the forum rules.  If people want to support this guest, then they will, if not, then it's their prerogative not to.  I deleted my initial comment as it seems to be fueling this exchange.  Alec, join or don't- I could care less.  I thought that if you joined it might help the amount of support  (and sales) you get from the members. And also help you to learn more about the hobby by unlocking added content on the website.. As far as the cost of membership- it costs $$$ to sustain a club, and even to maintain the web presence (not to mention the magazine). If everyone were to stop paying dues, then the club would not exist.

Let's be kinder about this matter, and move on.

That signal badge is intricate and not many people need a badge like that. If I did a badge just for you it would exceed the cost of your fan.

I agree Lane. Let's drop this petty arguing. In my honest opinion, I believe it should be your perogative to support every guest, because even though you may not agree with a lot of them, you never no when one of those guests might be an old lady that you can snake a Tesla out from under her for $30.

"Kindness sustains" "Kill them with Kindness" Those should be the phrases we live by.

Hey Charlie,

I could do the design with the right materials , but just to clarify I cannot make metal, embossed badges. Only the decals.

Charlie this is an association, or club that you are buying a membership in not a forum to strictly chat about fans.  I feel the annual fee is more than fair for what you receive.

All I m looking for would be a decal and I will make my own badge  the decal could be black  back ground and gold on the other.
There may be others that would want them?  if not ok

I might make those. It's all dependent on demand and if this is as lucrative as I hope it'll be.

Alec,
We should be able to get a better picture  of that badge if you decide to make a run of them.

To me, in the interest of the club this entire thread and it's bickering should be should be deleted from the forum. I'm not going to take the time to reply to Alec's parting shot.  I guess he can't let it be.  Gotta whack the hornet's next one last time.

Also there have been no prices posted on these labels, which if I recall is a requirement to post here.

When he has actual product and pricing, then it seems more appropriate for the BST column.

I actually agree. I forgot about that rule when I had posted this thread. I meant for it to merely gauge if there was any interest in decals. Bickering aside I have learned there is and I'm currently figuring out the best method to print them on the decal paper. As for the prices there is no way of posting a price since pricing will rely solely on the intracacy of the badge and time it takes me to vectorize them. If the moderators decide they want to delete the thread then I support them, though for the resource of other members it may be better to move it to the Antique forum. If anyone has a request or question about a decal, please PM me. Out of respect for the association I will not post on this thread anymore.

Sincerely,
Alec

Thanks Alec-

Moderators- please remove all content not directly relating to the decals themselves and move this to either the pre-or post 1950 sites.  I think it'll be the best way to proceed. Perhaps when Alec has product available, and pricing it will be appropriate for this thread-  Thanks

A laser printer is the way to go. Photo printers are mainly inkjet, and decals need to be clear coated. I have made quite a few decals for badges...

I have 3 laser printers. All were bought used and work great. However, toner is not cheap  :D
