I have sent the badges out to George Durbin...he should be receiving them 6/23/2021...at least that is what USPS promises.  George will contact you with payment and shipping.

Please visit new page.

(Sorry for the confusion).  For those who placed their order Here...I will honor the price $50 with free shipping.

Badges for sale - Buy-Sell-Trade - Antique Fan Collectors Association - AFCA Forums

The new order page is $80 with free shipping...I have to recoup some of my losses.  When you receive your badge and wish to place more, please post in the above link.

....................................................................................................................................................................

Just in case you did not see the message due to lost post from June 13-16, here it is again.

The badge will be discolored due to the high temperature casting and can be remove with polishing.

When you get the badge, feel free to belt sand the  back to level it.  I left plenty of metal in the back for this purpose.  You might want to gently round the perimeter while you are at it.  Please do NOT use a wire wheel to polish.  I like using a dremel with Red Rouge (red rouge is gentle) and wipe with a terry cloth.  I do not like washing off the red rouge completely.  The dark contrast is nice.  The badge will darken a bit with time...some of my badges actually has a nice "brass" tinge with time.

Here are the badges that will be filled/solid cast in bronze.
Diehl:

ECK:

Hunter:

Fortwayne...will be similar in thickness to the Diehl/Hunter..solid fill.

J. Stone...my favorite:

Victor badge: I'll be adding 1.2 mm to the outer edge and fix minor chipping issue...came like this.  I did removed extra left over...made it smooth and round.

Louis Luu wrote: The following badges will be sold $50/each...shipping included.  Please put down how many you want here...don't PM...hard to keep track of.  The back will be filled/solid...don't have time right now to mess with pressing...that will be after I'm done with the mini lollipop/vane casting project.  For now...these will be filled/solid cast in bronze....shine up like brass....do not use buffing wheel...use Brasso and toothbrush...otherwise loose detail.  Rick Powell was kind enough to donate the 12 inch Diehl and 12 inch ECK badge.  Rick...you will get yours free...the least I can do.  Charlie Wicks will get 12 inch Hunter...even though he did not ask...He just wants to help...very kind person.

Sorry for the delay...work has been hectic and it is more cost effective if I cast these all at once.  I been making the lost wax mold for several...the only ones I need to finish up are the Hunter and Fortwayne badges.

I'm hoping George Durbin will volunteer to sell these.  If it does not sale...he will most likely make clocks out of them...don't ask...don't even want to know.  Please do not pay until items are picked up....just tell me how many you want and which ones.

Hee heeeee!

Clocks?  Wut makes yo think that!😅🤣😂
Of course I will sell them and mail them!

Jon...double check your fan...I saw your post.  Your fan is 16 inch?  I have a 16 inch Hunter badge...I don't mind throwing that into the mix...I needed one myself.

I’ll take a 16 inch hunter badge. I just want a badge on the fan. Doesn’t have to be correct.

Jon...I just wanted to make sure you get the correct badge...no sense in putting an incorrect badge.  I don't mind.

Lost wax is more tedious but great at capturing details...with minimal shrinkage.  I try to compensate by priming...2% shrinkage rule....no big deal.  Just measure the diameter...spray a tad bit on the edge for shrinkage.  Done.

Same way...only difference is the back will be solid/flush...mounted with the original clip.  Can you please tell what size you need?

Some day . . . small flags - - not a scaled down version from a 12" fan, subtle differences

I only have the one Rick Powell sent me...I think it will work.  I don't have an 8 inch ECK to compare with.

The ECK badge I got from Rick Powell is 60 mm.
