Looking to buy a replacement motor for a Kenmore window fan. This is the motor that came out of it, and it is pretty much shot due to water damage. The label (shown) fell apart as I was trying to photograph it.
The fan itself is a 2 speed reversible.

Here is the closest motor I could find, it is a 1/6 hp PSC 120vac motor, but the fan would probably have to be re-wired for the reversing circuit.  Here is the link to the motor: https://www.ebay.com/itm/312956952518?hash=item48ddb01fc6:g:nRoAAOSw3DteJiKa

Get us the outer most diameter of the motor shell so we know exactly how big the motor needs to be size wise to clear the blade. Also, get us a picture of the back side of the blade (The side that faces outside) so we know exactly which Kenmore blade you have, as there is a few different versions.

Also, a model number of the fan itself will help. Maybe someone here could do some cross referencing to identify what size motor you need in terms of horsepower. (My guess is that the original motor was anywhere from 1/16 HP to around 1/8 HP)

Here are some things we know already.
1. It's a box fan style motor
2. It's 2 speeds and reversible with capacitor
3. It's a 6 pole motor with a max RPM rating of 1050 RPM
4. The original motor was made by Westinghouse

Even if you don't go with the original brand of the motor (Westinghouse), another commonly found motor may fit fine as long as it has the power to turn that blade and clears the hub so that nothing hits while it's running. Fasco also made very good motors.

Attention Tom Zapf? Any idea on the horsepower of this motor from this Kenmore?

Screw to screw is 4.5 inches, as far as motor size. Photo of rear of blade is included as well. I found the identification sticker for the fan, and attached it. Any information you can give me would be gold.

I THOUGHT THE ISSUE WAS THE CAPACITOR AND NOT THE MOTOR? I WILL CHECK A SEARS CATALOGUE FOR THE HORSEPOWER RATING

The capacitor may be bad as well, and I certainly don’t mind replacing it. I would rather replace the capacitor while I am inside the guts of the fan, anyway. I’m basically going to be rewiring the entire fan.
